Instrumentation: standard Wind Band

This was the fifth and final arrangement done as a teacher: it is, therefore, ideal for school and other amateur wind bands, showcasing each section.

The music is taken from Pirates of Penzance and Iolanthe for this arrangement. The additional title – The Final Frontier – is another link to Star Wars.

I do not intend that this will be the last arrangement to delve into the superb melodies found within the Gilbert and Sullivan operettas.
