Description
This is an arrangement of a traditional Celtic air, or slow melody. It is arranged for 3 flutes of roughly equal ability as the melody and other figures are passed around. It should be played in a legato manner, with careful use of dynamic shading.
It would make an obvious piece for a Flute group and the main melody is both attractive and memorable.
In this arrangement, players would need to be of Grade 4 to 5 ability, making it useful for KS4 and GCSE Ensemble music.
Other pieces in this series include Three Irish Jigs and Three Irish Reels.
