Description
William Byrd (1839/40 – 1623) was an English composer who left behind a very wide range of music. His “Pavan – The Earl of Salisbury” is justifiably famous. This arrangement should be accessible to most KS4 / GCSE students. There are several imitative passages, with interest passing between different clarinet parts.
It is suitable for concert performance, for ensemble work in general and as a submission for all major GCSE examination boards.
The download consists of a full score and each part as a PDF plus a full recording via Sibelius.
